Oliver Inc. is looking for an experienced Pressman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have offset press experience and operate the assigned press, ensuring that the quality of printed work is compliant with the clients' requirements. The person will direct the operations of the press, collaborating with all Departments involved in the manufacturing flow, ensuring the safety of each activity.

Shift: 2nd or 3rd

About the Role:

In this opportunity as a Pressman, you will:

• Oversee, train, and support the press operator assigned to your machine

• Set up and operate the press according to detailed job instructions

• Ensure print quality through careful inspection and color matching

• Load paper stock, hang plates, monitor ink and water levels, and ensure all materials are correct and ready

• Conduct make-readies and perform ongoing quality checks every 500 sheets

• Maintain blankets, perform minor repairs, and keep press area clean and organized

• Collaborate closely with paper handlers and the Pressroom Supervisor

• Learn and adapt to new technologies like cold foil application and lenticular printing

About You:

You're a fit for the role of Pressman if your background includes:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience as a UV Press Operator strongly preferred

• 2+ years of press experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and understand job orders, color guides, and production documentation

• Comfortable performing physical tasks throughout your shift (standing, walking, lifting, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish colors with precision
