Oliver Inc. is looking for an experienced, committed and passionate Die Cutter Operator to join our great team. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of printing and operated as a die cutting pressman. The person will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, monitoring, and operating a die cutting machine: dismantle previous job, log impressions on saved jobs with date, press and chase number, or dispose of dies as marked, pull samples and glue set to check for accuracy, according to the specifications. The Die Cutter Operator will focus on continuously checking for accuracy and quality, monitor the machine, and correct problems. The person will be responsible for the quality of the die cutting of finished products.

About the Role:

In this opportunity as our Die Cutter Operator, you will:

• Operate a Bobst 104-BM AutoPlaten Foil Stamper/Embosser Die Cutter Machine to produce high-quality, precision work that sets new standards.
• Conducting make-ready processes to prepare for production and ensuring every project hits its mark.
• Inspecting each load for quality, ensuring every sheet meets our exacting standards.
• Maximizing efficiency while maintaining top-notch results under tight deadlines.
• Performing routine maintenance to keep the machine running smoothly and prevent downtime.
• Recording production time, waste, and downtime meticulously to ensure streamlined operations.
• Proactively communicating with team members to solve problems and promote seamless teamwork.

About You:

You're a fit for the role of Die Cutter Operator, if your background includes:

• In-depth experience with the Bobst 104-BM AutoPlaten Foil Stamper/Embosser Die Cutter Machine. Experience with Bobst Die Cutters is a big plus.
• A results-driven mindset focused on achieving the best performance and quality.
• A passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail.
• The ability to troubleshoot and think creatively when faced with challenges.
• Team spirit, positivity, and a proactive approach - we want someone who brings energy and collaboration to every shift.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, push, and pull regularly during your shift.
• Comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• The role also requires bending, squatting, crouching, and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Specific vision requirements include color vision and focus adjustment.
